UConn Recovery Community Weekly Meetings
URC meetings are held weekly on Fridays at 4:00pm in East Campus at the Cordial Storrs House, 1332 Storrs Road, Storrs Mansfield CT 06269.
UConn students who are struggling with addiction or substance use are encouraged to drop in. We frequently have newcomers at our weekly meetings.
Our community is incredibly welcoming and compassionate. We often do introductions, exchange contact information, and offer valuable advice and support to others who are new to the URC, or new to sobriety or recovery. Our weekly meetings include life skills workshops, topical discussions, sobriety milestone celebrations, and general socializing and support. Our space is comfortable, inviting and conversational. We always have snacks and coffee!
To foster the wellbeing of our members, individuals who are under the influence of alcohol or other drugs are not welcome at URC meetings.
If you have any questions about our meetings, contact us at 860-486-9431 or email@example.com.
